During the recession in 2011, Clodagh Doyle and her husband Ivan placed their property to market for sale. As the months rolled past with very little interest or viewings, Clodagh felt a more pro-active approach was necessary. It was obvious that if we wanted to achieve the best possible price for our property and quickly, we had to try and influence this outcome, by going that extra mile to give our property the competitive edge.
We decided that if we were to show our property in its best light, we needed to focus on what improvements would greatly enhance it. Carrying out a full inspection inside and out, we compiled a long list of recommended improvements. We were fortunate in that we had the necessary skills and experience to take care of the entire project - seamlessly without any hassle or stress.
With my passion and creative flair for all things about the home and Ivan’s years of trade’s experience, we set about renovating our property. After all the major repairs, painting and decorating were completed and the property cleaned, I set about styling the property while Ivan concentrated on the landscaping. When our agent revisited, he was so impressed that he took new marketing photographs. We promptly organised an open viewing, from which a viewer made us an offer. We sold our property quickly and for the most we could possible achieve at that time. We had no doubt, that it was down to our focused effort on maximising the potential of our property that got it sold.
