From project planning through to project completion, the Placelift team with your dedicated site and project manager will provide you with a complete and professional service.

At Placelift, we also realise the importance of keeping our customers fully informed and up-to-date at every stage of their project. We provide ONE point of contact and as we only undertake ONE project at a time, focusing all of our energy and attention on the project in hand.

OUR 6 STAGE RENOVATION PROCESS


Stage 1 - Assessment

When you get in touch with Placelift, we will follow up with you either by email or with an initial telephone conversation. To help us determine if your project is compatible with our process and services, we will ask you to complete and submit our simple online Project Questionnaire. 

If we are a suitable fit for each other, we will schedule an appointment at your home to complete a walk through and get a better understanding of your proposed project.


Stage 2 - Consultation

Our initial complimentary meeting will take up to one hour, where we will discuss your ‘project brief’ in detail, your budget and timeline. 

We will ask you many questions, so that we can get a better understanding of what you are hoping to achieve.  We will of course be more than happy to answer any of your questions. When we view your property, we may take some photographs that will assist us when completing our estimate.

Following our meeting, if we are still a good fit for each other, we will email you our budget estimate for your project (usually takes approximately one week).  The purpose of this budget estimate is to provide you with a better understanding of what your budget can deliver.


Stage 3 - Budget & Development

Once you have had a chance to review our budget estimate, we can schedule our next meeting. With your budget in mind, we will work with you to prioritise and advise you on the best spend of your money.  We can tailor the scope of works to suit your budget if required. 

As every project is different, we will discuss the best way forward for your project. 

If you are re-configuring your existing layout, we will recommend concept spatial layout drawings.  We will then revise the budget estimate to take account of revisions and agree a final scope of works and budget for your project.

We provide you with one detailed estimate which includes labour and materials and PC Sums (allowances) for the recommended products and finishes.  Some areas may be subject to survey/measure, for example by our structural engineer (if there is a structural alteration).

The main aim of this stage is to ensure that your expectation is aligned with your budget, so that we have mutual agreement on what can be achieved. If you would like to talk to some of our satisfied customers, we would be more than happy to put you in touch with their consent.


Stage 4 - Contract

Our service is then formalised through our contract, drafted to reflect the agreed renovation project.  By signing our contract and making a deposit payment, you secure your renovation slot with Placelift for an agreed commencement date for your project. We strictly only take on ONE project at a time and we operate on first come, first serve basis.

In preparation for your project, we arrange the necessary meetings to discuss the various aspect of your project for example bathroom design, kitchen layout etc. 


Stage 5 - Planning

Our focus in now on YOUR project and we will work with you to take care of absolutely every aspect of your project from start to finish. 

With our vast experience, we will carefully consider your options and share our creative ideas and solutions when it comes to interior design – to ensure that we optimise your space and that is works for you. We help and guide you with the selection of all the required fixture, fittings and finishes in accordance with your style and budget - pc sums (allowances).

Working with your pc sums (allowances), we can bring suitable samples to you and provide links to the recommended finishes and fittings, making this process as simple and enjoyable as possible. We continue to update the budget throughout the entire process.  You will be immediately informed of any unforeseen or additional costs and we will only proceed with your agreement to same. We seamlesssly source and order all products and materials that are required to ensure that these are on site in a timely manner to avoid unnessary delays.


Stage 6 - The Works

Our professional team provide the highest quality of workmanship and customer service. 

We only take on one project and at time, your project!  We work to your schedule with minimum disruption to ensure the experience is as stress free as possible.

Your project will have a dedicated site manager who manages the team on the ground and a project manager who co-ordinates the day to day requirements, keeping you fully informed.  You can feel free to attend site visits as often as you wish.

On completion, we carry out a full walk-through to ensure you are fully satisfied.  At Placelift, our reputation is very important to us and we love to go that ‘extra mile’ for our clients.  We guarantee to address and resolve any issues that may arise up to 12 months after completion.
